My demo starts with a feature list and I get bored editing it
There’s a real before-and-after buried twenty seconds in. I keep adding context before it because I’m worried the product won’t make sense.

Move the visible problem to the front. Give the viewer just enough context to understand the change. If a feature matters, let it explain the result after we’ve seen why we care.
#1I cut the opening down to the messy state and one action. The feature names can live on the destination page.
#2Keep one version with a little more context too. “Shorter” isn’t the goal by itself; understandable is.
