Someone asks, basically, “why wouldn’t I just do this in a spreadsheet?” I could ignore it, but it’s the comparison I should probably be demonstrating.

Make the comparison fair. Show a task the spreadsheet handles well, then the specific point where your product does something different. If there isn’t one, that’s product feedback.
