When do you kill the test instead of fixing one more thing?
There’s always another hook, another page, another audience. I want a way to decide whether we learned something actionable or are just buying ourselves another week.

Name the unresolved question and the cheapest test that would change the decision. If you can’t say what different evidence would make you act differently, another variation probably isn’t the next step.
#1That’s uncomfortable but useful. I’ll write the decision before the next brief, including the result that would make us stop.
#2Check exposure and instrumentation before calling it a demand failure, though. A test nobody saw can’t tell you much about whether they wanted it.
